TRAMOS® AIRCRAFT CLEANER
TRAMOS® AIRCRAFT CLEANER is a concentrated product that can be used for the exterior and interior cleaning of aircrafts. This product is tested by SMI, Miami, Florida, USA on the following specifications : Boeing D6 - 17487 Revision L - Exterior and General Cleaners and Liquid Waxes Douglas Aircraft Company customer service document CSD#1 General Purpose Cleaner AMS 1526B Cleaner for Aircraft Exterior Surfaces, Pressure-spraying Type

CHEMICAL COMPOSITION
° The Tramos® Aircraft Cleaner basic ingredients decrease the water surface tension and improve the solution of organic substances. They also cause the disintegration of many chemical compounds.
° Among other reasons, the use of linear carbon chains in the hydrophobic system makes Tramos® Aircraft Cleaner practically completely biodegradable. The micro organisms completely desintegrate these linear carbon chains.
° Two types of reducing ingredients, cationic and non-ionic, are used in Tramos® Aircraft Cleaner.
° Due to this cationic material, our product performs very efficiently, even at low temperatures. The relatively high pH-value (ca. 12.90) is partly caused by this cationic ingredient. With the result that Tramos® Aircraft Cleaner does not aggressively act on solid washable substances.
During the cleaning process, Tramos® Aircraft Cleaner settles deep in the structure of the material, undermining the dirt and removing it from the underground. In order to increase the penetration power and decrease the static attraction, a non-ionic ingredient has been included. This ingredient encases the dirt particles and prevents them from attaching. The efficient effect of Tramos® Aircraft Cleaner on oil derivates can be explained by the decomposition of these substances into their components, separating the particles, which are soluble in water, from the organic phases. Thus, the oil can be easely skimmed from the water. Tramos® Aircraft Cleaner does not contain any phosphates. The cationic and non-ionic ingredients are not sensitive to Ca and Mg-ions. Consequently the effect of Tramos® Aircraft Cleaner is not restricted in hard water and adding phosphates is not necessary.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
For the first two exterior cleanings, we recommend to work with a dilution of 1 : 3 (1 part of product mixed with 3 parts of water). This will result in a quick built up of the antistatic layer. If the aircrafts are cleaned on a regular basis, the dilution can go down to 1 : 15 maximum. For the interior cleaning we recommend to work with a dilution of 1 : 10.


° REMARKS : Tramos® Aircraft Cleaner is highly concentrated. When the product is not sufficiently thinned down, a "white haze" or "white stripes" may appear after drying, especially on very smooth surfaces. These shall disappear when treated again with the correct dilution.
